Looking for a fun, fall activity that is appropriate for all members of your family - from the littest ones to teens? Check out the Lorain County Metroparks Carlisle Reservation in Lagrange, Ohio, which is kicking off its annual "Halloween Fair" this weekend.

The Halloween Fair, which features a haunted trail, train and tractor rides, entertainment, and more, runs on October 14, 15, 21, 22, 29 and 29. Admission is just $2, but those under 42" are free. Parking is also free, and food and games are available for a nominal fee. LCMP will also continue the tradition of collecting canned food for Second Harvest Food bank, and encourages attendees to bring a canned food item along to help those in need during the coming holiday season.

What: Halloween-themed Fall Family Fun including Haunted Trail, Choo & Tractor-pulled hay wagon rides, entertainment, games, food, and kid-friendly fun.

When: October 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 and 29 from 5-10 pm; stations along the Trail become “Haunted” at 7pm.
Where: Carlisle Reservation’s Carlisle Visitor Center, 12882 Diagonal Rd., LaGrange.
Cost: Haunted Trail admission $2 per person; under 42 inches FREE! Food, Games, and some kid-friendly attractions available for the usual nominal fee.

Please mark your calendars for Wednesday October 23rd for our first "Dine-in" Fundraiser of the year!! It will be held at BW3's in Avon Lake and both dine-in and carry-out options will be available.  

Today is the day, in less than 9 hours the gates to the Finest Fall Family Attraction will open for the 2013 season!  Pumpkin Village has something for everyone.  They have not one but two corn mazes, sweet hay rides through the orchard, a 311 foot super slide, the famous COW TRAIN rides, 70 foot jumping pillow, total access to the Jump Park with the brand new School House filled with corn!!!!  This is the place to be every weekend this fall.  The hours for Pumpkin Village are Fridays 3p.m. – 10 p.m. Saturdays 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. and Sundays 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.  There are eight different themed weekend festivals for the next two months, so it’s always something new and fresh.  I can’t think of a better place to watch the changing of the season then Mapleside Farms, you can smell the apples in the air!  What are you waiting for?  Come on out and start MAKING MEMORIES that will last a lifetime!!!!  For complete schedule click here: Mapleside Farms Event Calendar.  Mapleside Farms, 294 Pearl Road, Brunswick, OH  44212
