Beginning November 28th, join the Greater Cleveland Aquarium as they celebrate this holiday season. Winter Waterland transforms the Aquarium and its exhibits into a festival of lights.

Santa’s a pretty magical guy, but did you know he can SCUBA dive too? Visit SCUBA Claus at the Greater Cleveland Aquarium for the most magical underwater Santa setting you’ve ever seen. You can even make your Christmas wish to SCUBA Claus and he’ll chat with you from inside the shark exhibit. Visit SCUBA Claus starting Friday November 28 and every weekend after that plus December 22, 23 and 24.

In order to participate in the festivities, all you need is a general admission ticket! Purchase general admission tickets here.

· To register for the class, you must email Jaime Alspach at jaime.alspach@MTECincorporated.com to confirm that spots are available in your preferred class; spots are filled on a first come, first served basis.

· Once you receive confirmation and Registration Form from Jaime, your spot will be held for 10 days.

· Payment for the 5-week class ($25/child) AND completed Registration Form MUST be received within 10 days to guarantee placement in class.

· Payment for the class can be in the form of cash, check (made out to “MTEC”), or credit card via PayPal on the home page of our website www.MTECincorporated.com.

Remember to register to attend our Holiday Party at Parker's Grille on Wednesday December 10 at 7:00pm! This event will take place of our regular December meeting. Board members are asked to arrive at 6:30 for a brief meeting. Registration can be found under our 'Outings' link in the 'Members Only' section of our website. Registration ends Sunday, December 7.

If you are planning on participating in our community service project for the CRS Santa's Workshop you can bring your unwrapped item to the meeting.

LENSC requested that we share their expanded holiday schedule with our members! The Center is open every day from 10am-5pm (with the exception of Thanksgiving Day) and admission is always free of charge.

Make it a great holiday break by stopping by and catching a few of these additional programs - a good way to work up an appetite or burn off some pumpkin pie energy! Tickets are just $2-$5/person depending on the program. No advance registration required.

The Cooperative Preschool of Bay Village, a non-profit preschool, is having their annual online auction this upcoming Thanksgiving weekend. They have 40 items up for auction and there is something for everyone. You do not need to be in northeast Ohio to bid so please tell friends and family. 

The auction runs from 6am Friday, November 28th to 10pm Monday, December 1st. www.baycoopschool.org/auctions

Dress for the weather and come walk the lighted trail to see displays with a theme of favorite classic holiday movies. See if your favorite is along the trail.

You can also ride the Little Green Choo Holiday Express around its own decorated loop filled with lights and characters.

Warm up inside the visitor center with some snacks available for a small fee.

The winter display has opened at Miller Nature Preserve. If you have played the game Candy Land as a kid or with your kids, you can enjoy a big version in the conservatory. As you walk through the Lollipop Woods and past the Chocolate Swamp Monster you will also learn about the plants that give us flavorings for our favorite candies.

The display is open 10 am-6 pm daily, except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. There is a $2 admission fee, children under 42" tall are free.

Make sure to get instructions and a dice at the front desk to play the game!
